The Demanet Kimono is a very affordable option for trainers that need a high quality suit at low-cost.  The suit provides great protection at all targeting locations and is available in solid colors (no design) and the Training and Semi-Training Weights ONLY.

The Kimono has extra fabric between the elbow and waist in order to be used by multiple decoys. As sizes vary between the United States and Europe, all we need are the height and weights of the decoys that will be utilizing the suit and Demanet will tailor to the desired size. This is a great suit for departments and facilities that share a suit across a number of people. For the price, the quality is unbeatable!

  1. How is the mobility of the Standard Kimono, even though this suit will be utilized for police application I prefer to have as much mobility as possible, due to the different scenarios we use in training?

    1. Good Afternoon Pete,
The Standard Kimono comes in two weights, the Training and Semi-Training. You get a little better mobility with the Semi-Training, as it is more comparable to the Semi-Competition weight suit. It does take protection down a bit, but can be counteracted by purchasing Polo Wraps to be worn under the suit. You can purchase Polo Wraps through us for $10, or find them at virtually any Tractor Supply or similar store. They are primarily used to wrap horses legs, but can be used on human arms/legs for additional protection without limiting mobility.

To purchase a Kimono, all we would need is the height and weight of your decoys and Henryk will tailor a suit to your needs.

If you have any further questions, please give me a call at (513) 621-1300 and I will be more than happy to help!

Sorry for the delay in response.

    1. Hello Bob – We recommend hand washing in cold water and let air dry. Do not use any chemicals or detergent as they will fade the fabric. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help!
